Bert built By the Bay Productions on the strength of his reputation for providing the best client service and his focus on top music quality and performance. Bert has been sought out for numerous weddings, live performances, auctions, galas, corporate and charity fundraisers. In 2010, his music and lighting effects at Children’s Hospital of Oakland’s Blossom Garden fundraiser was noted by local media as one of the most exciting events in town. Over the last 2 decades, his company has expanded from a company focusing on DJ and Karaoke (DJ by the Bay) and has since grown to a full production company which includes DJ, KJ, Lighting Design, Photobooth, Audio/Video, Live Sound Reinforcement (including musical theater), and more.
His has eclectic taste in music and enjoys the challenge of putting diverse music genres together to make a seamless mix.He also donates his time and expertise to the local youths’ musical theater program where he enjoys watching his kids perform.
